The journey through prostate cancer diagnosis and surgery can be quite fast and overwhelming. The two main side effects of a prostatectomy include urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction.
Sarah will provide you with support and care through your journey to help optimise bladder and bowel function pre-operatively and minimise bladder leakage post-operatively. Sarah has experience working closely with Urological Surgeons and Prostate Cancer Care Nurses to help many men navigate their journey from diagnosis to a “dry” recovery.
Having good control and strength of your pelvic floor muscles helps to give you some control over bladder leakage and reduce the time to becoming “dry”. Whether your goal is to get back to running, cycling and working or playing golf and enjoying time with grandchildren, Sarah will provide an individualised approach to your care, focussing on your specific concerns and goals.
